Cotton Blend Panne Velour. Originally "velour" meant a thick woven woolen with a soft close nap on the right side. Today we tend to use "velour" to mean a velvet with a somewhat longer nap. This is a cotton blend, very soft and floppy, with a heavy, attractive drape, the pile pressed flat during manufacture to give the characteristic sheen of panne.
