Wool Flannel. A fabric favored in the 20th century among beautiful, lazy young people, which led humorist Fran Lebowitz to declare, "gather ye ye flannel while ye may." A plain, dull-surfaced, fuzzy fabric; can be of plain or twill weave, the characteristic fuzziness being imparted by milling the fabric after weaving.
