it's been a long day...someone stole somethin' expensive....the 2nd cup of
Coffee felt like a jagged edge...Mr. Franklin Lib. called and left a long,
long message,,,,the Australian Andean Flute Maker thinks i'm overcharging
him..and I think i'm doing it Pro Bono...as B sz 'if you never do anything
for anyone you'll be spared the .... of human relationships..But back to E 7th St....G..and I had a falling out over her Abrams
DeKooning...the details are lost on me...something like I was going to sell
it to the DeKooning archives and make enough to buy a
yachtandchaletandrollsroyce...and she be dammned etc..Finito to the semi-friendship..At a certain point..the 2 packs of
poison a day..and the lack of cash flow...and she closed the shop...w/o a
closing sale..20 per cent off...and that begrudged to the end..I wanted to buy Some Evergreen Reviews...which with the change of
times are all but unsellable..and the Dekooning Rosenberg.. that i bought
at a house sale a couple of months later has been been picking up dust and
kicks on my floor for a many a year....there's a tide etc...O TISSOT O
BOUGEAREAU...G...lived on... operation, choke, operation, cough...and some of her
books made there way to my friend at Tomp Sq Bks...further down on
E.7th...the border was B..the Border was C...anyway..GH...i think charged
her 20 per cent...had actually helped her move the better stock 3 flights
up when she left the store...took her out for her birthday..visited in
hosp. x,y,z,,, and out of the goodness of his mistaken heart..After all our Saint was a X-christian bookseller, and i don't mean he
sold religious books,,,when a number of times he's bought books and found
some $$$$$$$$$$$ in them...he returned the money...when somebody brought in
a book to sell that he couldn't give them 'nuf money for he's send them
onward...when after hours of huffing up huffing up the stairs..G sd why
don't you take most of these books...he went home with his pockets full of
good deedsG xed...and the books went to her two daughters..one a psych..and
one..as i was told...who liked to date..good riddance...so WE wait...I
don;t have any hopes of buying the books..but I'd like to see them...months
go by...and our Saint gets a call from the dating daughter...she's sold
most of the books to A...Books...and would he like to buy what they
left....O Saint Sebastain..i guess even Saints...Anyway...A...Books was one of those outfits that adved HIGHEST PRICEST
PAID (and we all know what that means) so the dating daughter got screwed
where it hurt the most)...the owner of A...Books.. checked into a
hotel..went up to the tenth floor and jumped out the Window...Nouveau Riche
Oblige.....Soethby's Auctioned off His Gentleman's Library...and My best
Friend Gh saints on...I'm not a X-tian but i'm always willing to hedge my bets..If i get to
Saint Peter and he asks...I hope Ghani is a step behind because I figure
that;s the only shot i've got...long day, long night, let the dreams
begin...Drn..
