Well, i've got 2c, so i'll put it in...(a break from the I
ching..#28...the lake rises above the trees......thus the superior man

Coop....1) a group sharing common interests...whether you;re a
small orange grower or the biggest orange grower...you grow and sell
oranges...the diff. between Maggs and B from Texass, is the difference
between apples and oranges, one sells, dreams, prestige, antiques and
snobbishness and one sells their cheap labor because that's all they have
to sell
2) If some computer genius xed out the top 100 dealers
from ABE or BB and then did a check of books over $500....what would we
find.., a more natural coop would be among ABAA dealers and they can't evem
get up a common web site..
3) Both Amazon and BN will go into the UB biz in big
way..they own the sites..all they need is a computer check of what's
selling and what to buy...warehouses in the desert..cheaper
labor...homogenized product...the only place they can expand the market...i
sez the more the merrierier...you sez i selll books under 10 bucks...i sez
the only reason you do is because it's cheaper for the BIG GUYS to get the
book from you than anywhere else...you're below min. wage...
4) It's a great day in the mornin'..who cares...the last
bright color of the daffodils in late spring, the flaking of the cherry
blossoms, and thou the unread book of....DRn.
