Subject: muttering & ravings &cycnicism

Behind every cynic there is a failed romantic. Or is it behind every cynic
there is more cynicism...The level of discourse keeps a pace..For those of
you who have nothing better to do than answer Jane from JeJune's pleas for
Help (o o o oooo' how much) I have a storage space with 'bout 4,000 titles
just waiting to be looked up ///should take you 'bout 2 years..and for
those poor souls who scour the net to price their wares and can't price
their treasures..Isn't that why you're booksellers..so you can extrapolate
from the general info to your particular...and if you can/t ..why not go to
school at Dr N's learning by one's mistakes..Thot the report on Cal book
fair was at least topical..but how about some real info,,what was sold and
by whom and more importantly for how much?...How much a book is worth is at
best a metaphysical question...How much it sold for grounds us in
reality..Remember the AB...47 per cent of the dealer's met their
expectations...Yeah turkey expects around Nov 1..The hidden cost of Book
Fair's is damage to the books...One book 'lover" fanning thru a fine in
D.J. book can make a 500 book into a 300 one in about a Minute..No browse
'em...Just buy 'em is my motto..If you don;t know what it is...why
bother...blather blather blather..reading Cioran...epigrimatic blather
blather blather..sweet dreams..Dr.n
