The ISSUE Vol. 1 no. 1 of HUSTLER...that I bought from the homeless
guy...he was dishing 'em out of a postal canvas wheel sack dolly..thot
about it...put it on for 1,200 FINE...thot i'd ask what it was worth but
who knows minnie from minneapolist...the PROOF of Der Blechtrommel (watch
my German spelling)..I put on for 50 Grand...Grass won the Noble....und
traumen and luft..why not...With the Hustler I bought some other t&a stuff...1st issues of Play
Girl and High Society (Warhol Portfolio of Black Drag Queens)& SOLO some
remarkable full-figure studies al a Russ Meyer and Bunny Yeager..English
early 60's..BIG GIRLS...some Swedish hard core stuff from the early
70's...tho I left the anal sex one...better left for the true
affecinado...got me to wondering...a good Acadamic Study of when as they
used to say on MARRIED WITH CHILDREN.. BIG 'EMS..became an American
Obsess....i left the BIG JUGGS..no academic (anthropolical market) as
yet...T.A. a CULTURAL STUDY OF SEXUAL ANATOMY IN THE POPULAR CULTURE OF
AMERICA BETWEEN THE WAR AND 1960...ETC...The banal questions this list engenders..I wanted to say idiot, but
N. hold yr tongue..never ceases to amaze me...be better if it were run like
a guild..you;d actually have to know something to sell books..to actually
get on you'd have to SELL 10 books for at least $50 each, NONE OF WHICH are
on the ABE OF BB list..not as hard as it sounds..i think i did this myself
last week....i.e., you'd have to KNOW something not be able to look some
thing up..have an intuitive grasp of the subject...This would seem to work
against little old lady booksellers in Podunk...but really not the smart
one would do it in a snap...they have accessible LOCAL HISTORY..Some quick recent blow yr horn and near miss examples...from the
quarter local guy..yes everyting h.c. or stiff wrap is 25 cent..the guy
before buys a pile..an internet Jockey churning out titles and
p.b...looking for the lotto jackpot..and he leaves ILLICH, IVAN...THE
BREAKDOWN OF SCHOOLS...Mex. '71..ltd to 500..no copies of any Illich book
from his study center in Mex...this is not seeing the forest for the trees
of chopping off your own d..k to feed the ...etc...anyway..if all you see
is junk common books all you get is junk common books...next one is near
miss...a KURT GODELL..P.U.P. from the 40's but the 2nd...I know nothing
about Math less about Godell but I've handled or seen enuf copies of
HOFSTEADERS...Goddell...etc...etc..to know that people much smarter than
i'll ever be...any way one Godell 1st on from QUARITCH... over a
grand...where are all the other ones..left with the wind and dust from the
hunter of i.p p.b.'s that dealers can make min. wage on slogging out...o
wearied world...and Drn..he be weary..o so...
