the whole long day has been a miasma...rain...then rain again...at the
Flee...I buy a David Stone Martin Portfolio from R...for 25 down from
30...and he doesn;t even scream that much...I try to tell him that the
Albers..Black Mntn pieces that I bought from him for x100 and am trying to
sell for x1,000 may never sell and he almost understands...I buy what suits
me for customers that don't exist..i believe in PHANTASY...the long green
at the end of the Tunnel of Eternal Light..J..is complaining at the Street Sale on 1lth St..I tell him to go on
line...He no do ever...La Vie Boheme for him...He built a house, put the
elevator in...and grey-haired construction seems a hammmer i don;t want to
swing...but who am i to argue with anyone's reality...Slow and slower..we
spend an hour complaining and then wade thru the Boxes...where I find Alice
WALKER'S third book..somebody on the net sz her scarcest..fine with
me...475 down and some to go..he leaves a copy A WONDERFUL LIFE..last copy
i sold to MAD. AVE book shop..they sd to one of the
VANDERBILT'S..FINE..with me I no longer argue with reality..just comb over
the bald spots in my head...In fact when R..asks me what I bought last week and I say Anne Rice's
S/M novel under the Roquealire psued..he looks disgusted..this is not
Proust, or Joyce or James..this is Capitalism and the
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is King f..king
the Queen...Oh well too much Finlandia Vodka bought at the Helsinki airport with
the last of Finnish money..Finish..no Finished....Dr. N...
