I make John take me for a power breakfast, the Ruscha book he
'scouted' out for 49cent, I sold for 1,500$$$, the money finally came thru from
B&N...He looks a little stunned at the bill and drops the 50 gingerly..but
I think it's good shock treatment..the News from Texas is the same..idiots
up..another idiot in the wings..After the 5th cup of coffee, he's off on his life story, Grinnell
Iowa, with the jewelled bank by Wright, U.of Iowa, Styron drinking half a
bottle of vodka before toast, Out with Vonnegut;s daugher, the worst date
ever..she tried too hard...selling vaccuums door to door, construction on
lofts, painting the masterpiece, alllll a Homeric Journey, as it is, since
he sez it twice...John is a good scout, of course, not good as me...ME, i think I'm
KING OF THE SCHNORRERS, nyways, he tells me scouting rite behind me, he got
a Carrie, after I left with the other Kings, Good Luck to him...I don;t
remember the day like 1,000000000000000000 of other scouting day...but I'm
glad he got it...Which reminds me of rule 1 of scouting...If you see one good book,
take a deep breath, and don;t spend the money all at once, and go
back...slooooooooooooooooowly and look at every book there, books like
blue-berries, huckle-berries, and idiots grow in clumps, taste is singular,
only bad taste is random,Meanwhile back in TX where the scout is 15 late for the round-up,
get out the whip, ladies and gents, it;s rule #2, Stupidity is today's
grammar and spelling Quiz, 100 per cent idiot's delite...DRN...
