- eat: baby artichokes trimmed, sauteed in a generous amount of good olive oil and minced parsley; add half white wine and half water to cover, top with a few thin lemon slices and braise slowly until very very tender. serve at room temperature with iced white wine, bread and cheese. simplicity itself; a friendly and elegant snack to serve to good friends.
