- slaver: over the groovy threads at net-a-porter. it's a british e-zine, pleasantly compact and well-edited, perfect for a quick peek at the runway stuff.

- read: the fall and rise of reginald perrin, if you haven't yet, and reread it if you have. this dizzying summit of the novelist's art is bringin u all the comic mastery of wodehouse together with the transcendental philosophical oomph of kierkegaard. the bbc production is excellent, but the book is nothing less than a handbook for living.
