- hear: blue jam is a disturbing, dreamlike and weird bbc radio comedy from 1997-1999. stream and/or download tons of episodes at the link provided. not for the faint of heart; you may find yourself somewhat upset to be laughing that hard.

- rent: 24, the first season, if you didn't get to see it on tv. entirely brainless and goofy, but fun. or rent another even better great big long series: i, claudius.

- eat: now that it's warmer, have some friends over and serve an english tea at four or five o'clock: thin sandwiches made le style anglais, with just butter salt and pepper. half of them of cucumber, and half of paper-thin sliced ham. chocolates, strawberries and thinly sliced bought pound cake for afters. omg, as they say.
